During 50% of the time, you and your cohort are accompanied by your trainer with video conferencing sessions. For the remaining 50% of the time, you will work on adapted labs coached by our certified trainers. To recap the newly aquired competencies, at the end of each training day there will be a question and answer session with your trainer.

An important part of the training are practical case studies that you will work on in the official labs. At the end of the training, there will be a multiple choice test that will help you to evaluate your individual level after participating in our training. The official certification exam can be taken either at a certified center or online on the Pearson VUE or PSI platforms.

The AWS Solutions Architect training takes place during four days. Each training day starts at 9am and finishes at 5pm. There is a lunch break of one hour included, which results in a total of seven hours of training per day.

The Solutions Architect certification exam consists of 4 parts:

– Resilient architecture design (30%)
– Design of highly resilient architectures (28%)
– Design of secure applications and architectures (24%)
– Cost-optimized architecture design (18%)
 
The exam comprises two types of questions:

– Multiple-choice questions: one correct answer and three incorrect answers.
– Multiple-response questions: two or more correct answers out of five or more.
 
Also, the exam includes 15 unscored questions which have no impact on your score. AWS collects information on candidates performance on these unscored questions in order to evaluate them for future use as scored questions.

Your exam results will be presented in the form of a scaled score from 100 to 1,000. To pass the exam, you must obtain a minimum score of 720.

The AWS Solutions Architect training costs € 2.490 per person. The fees of the official certification exam are included in the price.
