Looking to switch careers without quitting your job? You can apply to Transitions Pro with a professional transition project. If approved, your training will be funded and you’ll keep receiving your salary during your training period.

Arbeitsmarktstipendien are grants provided by the City of Zurich to support people who need further training to keep their job or find new employment. You must submit your application online before the beginning of the course.

Eligibility:
To qualify, you need to have lived in Zurich for at least 2 years, have a Swiss social security number, and have worked for at least 5 years on a low income. You must also not have taken part in any training over the last 3 years.

How it works?
The Regionales Arbeitsvermittlungszentrum (RAV) / Office régional de placement (ORP) are regional employment offices that can approve individual training requests if they improve your chances of finding a job. The course must meet labour market needs and be aligned with the participant’s skills.
