It is a<a href=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/en\/powerapps-everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-mobile-app-development-platform\"> cloud-based service for creating online workflows<\/a> to automate actions or business processes in Microsoft applications and services. Power Automate is one of the so-called &#8220;low code&#8221; applications (a &#8220;low code&#8221; application is one where there are very few lines of code to program).<\/p><p>With <strong>Power Automate,<\/strong> you can set up processes of varying complexity, such as :<\/p><ul><li>Synchronize a database;<\/li><li>Automatically save e-mail attachments from Outlook in a dedicated folder;<\/li><li>Capture, locate and track new prospects (potential customers);<\/li><li>Protect your company data;<\/li><li>Collect company data and share it with your team;<\/li><li>Respond instantly to high-priority emails.<\/li><\/ul><p>Now that we know a little more about<strong> Power Automate,<\/strong> let&#8217;s get down to business! We&#8217;re going to create a feed to receive daily reminders in our Outlook mailbox.<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t<h3>How do I create a feed on Power Automate?<\/h3>\t\t\n\t\t<p>To use Power Automate, you&#8217;ll need a Microsoft 365 account.<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t<h4>Step 1: Go to your Microsoft 365 Office account!<\/h4>\t\t\n\t\t<p>In the left-hand sidebar, you can click on the Power Automate logo:<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t<style>\n.elementor-widget-image{text-align:center}.elementor-widget-image a{display:inline-block}.elementor-widget-image a img[src$=\".svg\"]{width:48px}.elementor-widget-image img{vertical-align:middle;display:inline-block}<\/style>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/2022\/04\/1er-photo-2-1.webp\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figcaption><\/figcaption>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t<p>The Power Automate interface opens:<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2eme-photo-1.png\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t<h4>Step 2: Define flow creation<\/h4>\t\t\n\t\t<p>Remember, we&#8217;re trying to create a feed to send daily reminders to our Outlook mailbox! Templates are organized according to your needs: Remote work, Email, Notifications&#8230;<\/p><p>Each template specifies :<\/p><ul><li>the applications used ;<\/li><li>the purpose of the template, with a description ;<\/li><li>template source;<\/li><li>task type.<\/li><\/ul><p>For example, for this model :<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2022-04-14-a\u0300-16.49.55.png\" title=\"\" alt=\"power automate\" loading=\"lazy\">\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figcaption><\/figcaption>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t<p>The applications used are <strong>Gmail and DropBox,<\/strong> the template saves Gmail attachments in a DropBox Folder, the template source is Microsoft and it&#8217;s an automated task.<\/p><p>There are 3 types of workflow tasks:<\/p><ol><li><em>Automated:<\/em> Automate a flow by a chosen event.<\/li><li><strong>Scheduled:<\/strong> Schedule a flow automation by defining the frequency and timing of its execution.<\/li><li><strong>Instantaneous:<\/strong> Start the flow manually when you wish, with a single click.<\/li><li>Start from connector: the idea is to select a connector (you can also access it from the connector page) where you can connect to different data sources: OneDrive, SharePoint or Twitter.<\/li><\/ol><p>In this tutorial, we choose to create a feed from a template.<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t<h4>Step 3: Define the flow from a model <\/h4>\t\t\n\t\t<p>On starting from a model :<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/2022\/04\/3eme-photo-1.png\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figcaption><\/figcaption>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t<p>Click on E-mail :<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/2022\/04\/4eme-photo-1.png\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figcaption><\/figcaption>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t<p>Then click on Receive daily reminders from your Outlook.com mailbox:<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/2022\/04\/5eme-photo-1.png\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figcaption><\/figcaption>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t<p>The application used here is Outlook, the template allows you to receive daily reminders from your mailbox, the template source is Microsoft and it&#8217;s a scheduled task.<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2022-04-14-a\u0300-16.50.47.png\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figcaption><\/figcaption>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t<p>Click on it:<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2022-04-14-a\u0300-16.51.43.png\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figcaption><\/figcaption>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t<p>Now we specify the connectors the task will use: here, the only connector is Outlook, and you can connect by specifying your e-mail address.<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2022-04-14-a\u0300-16.52.30.png\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figcaption><\/figcaption>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t<p>On clique sur <strong>Continuer<\/strong> pour passer \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tape suivante !<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t<h4>Step 4: Customize the template <\/h4>\t\t\n\t\t<p>We&#8217;re now going to customize our predefined template.<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2022-04-14-a\u0300-16.54.32.png\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<p>In the first box, every day, you specify the frequency at which you wish to receive the e-mail: by month\/week\/day\/hour.<\/p><p>We choose to keep the default frequency. We receive this e-mail every day.<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2022-04-14-a\u0300-16.55.19.png\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<p>In the second box, you specify who will receive the e-mail (you can specify several e-mail addresses, separating them by semicolons), the subject and the body of the e-mail.<\/p><p>Choose the e-mail address to which you wish to receive the e-mail, the subject line: How to use Power Automate and the body line: Check that our flow is working.<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/2022\/04\/11eme-photo.png\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\n\t\t<p>If you click on<\/p><p>Show advanced options: you can add attachments, importance, etc.<br>Next step: you can further customize your operations by selecting from a range of actions and connectors.<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figure>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/2022\/04\/12eme-photo.png\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<figcaption><\/figcaption>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/figure>\n\t\t<p>Finally, we click on Save to create our feed.<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t<h4>Step 5: Check that the flow is operational<\/h4>\t\t\n\t\t<p>Now let&#8217;s check that the feed is working.
