This is what we call RPA: Robotic Process Automation. Today, Liora presents a tutorial on how to create an RPA process on Microsoft with Power Automate. Let&#8217;s start with an introduction to Power Automate<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"what-is-power-automate\">What is Power Automate?<\/h2>\n\n\n<p>Microsoft Power Automate is the successor to Microsoft Flow. It is a<a href=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/en\/powerapps-everything-you-need-to-know-about-the-mobile-app-development-platform\"> cloud-based service for creating online workflows<\/a> to automate actions or business processes in Microsoft applications and services. Power Automate is one of the so-called &#8220;low code&#8221; applications (a &#8220;low code&#8221; application is one where there are very few lines of code to program).<\/p>\n\n\n<p>With <strong>Power Automate,<\/strong> you can set up processes of varying complexity, such as :<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Synchronize a database;<\/li><li>Automatically save e-mail attachments from Outlook in a dedicated folder;<\/li><li>Capture, locate and track new prospects (potential customers);<\/li><li>Protect your company data;<\/li><li>Collect company data and share it with your team;<\/li><li>Respond instantly to high-priority emails.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>Now that we know a little more about<strong> Power Automate,<\/strong> let&#8217;s get down to business! So let&#8217;s click on &#8220;Create&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Then we find ourselves on this interface:<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\" style=\"margin-top:32px;margin-bottom:32px\"><img alt=\"power automate\" decoding=\"async\" height=\"530\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/2022\/04\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2022-04-14-a\u0300-16.49.17.png\" style=\"width:100%;height:auto\" width=\"1190\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>There are three ways to create a feed:<\/p>\n\n\n<p><strong>Start from scratch:<\/strong> Create a completely customized flow, just as you want it from A to Z. <br\/>Start from a template: This allows you to create flows from a predefined template and then customize them. Templates are organized according to your needs: Remote work, Email, Notifications&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Each template specifies :<\/p>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>the applications used ;<\/li><li>the purpose of the template, with a description ;<\/li><li>template source;<\/li><li>task type.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n<p>For example, for this model :<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full is-resized\" style=\"width:600px;max-width:100%;margin-top:32px;margin-right:auto;margin-bottom:32px;margin-left:auto\"><img alt=\"power automate\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p>The applications used are <strong>Gmail and DropBox,<\/strong> the template saves Gmail attachments in a DropBox Folder, the template source is Microsoft and it&#8217;s an automated task.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>There are 3 types of workflow tasks:<\/p>\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><em>Automated:<\/em> Automate a flow by a chosen event.<\/li><li><strong>Scheduled:<\/strong> Schedule a flow automation by defining the frequency and timing of its execution.<\/li><li><strong>Instantaneous:<\/strong> Start the flow manually when you wish, with a single click.<\/li><li>Start from connector: the idea is to select a connector (you can also access it from the connector page) where you can connect to different data sources: OneDrive, SharePoint or Twitter.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n<p>In this tutorial, we choose to create a feed from a template.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-3-define-the-flow-from-a-model\">Step 3: Define the flow from a model <\/h3>\n\n\n<p>On starting from a model :<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\" class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-4-customize-the-template\">Step 4: Customize the template <\/h3>\n\n\n<p>We&#8217;re now going to customize our predefined template.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure month\/week\/day\/hour.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>We choose to keep the default frequency.
