First criticising ChatGPT as too &#8220;woke&#8221;, he then signed a petition to stop its development, before starting to create his own.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Why create TruthGPT?<\/h3>\nTruthGPT is <b>the purpose<\/b> behind Elon Musk&#8217;s creation of the <b>X.AI company<\/b> in March and the <b>10,000 GPUs<\/b> he recently purchased. With this project, Musk explains that he first wanted to <b>compete with OpenAI and ChatGPT<\/b>. Co-founder of OpenAI in <b>2015<\/b> before leaving it in <b>2018<\/b>, he considers OpenAI&#8217;s AI to be<b> trained to be &#8220;woke&#8221;<\/b>. A problem according to him because wokism amounts to hiding part of the truth and <b>therefore lying to its users<\/b>.\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"578\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2023\/04\/Capture-decran-2023-04-21-170354-1024x740.png\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\n<h3>What is TruthGPT?<\/h3>\nElon Musk&#8217;s <b>primary objective<\/b> with TruthGPT is to create <a href=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/en\/artificial-intelligence-definition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">an artificial intelligence that would seek the universal truth and its interest<\/a>. According to the billionaire, this is <b>the best way<\/b> to develop a generative AI and <b>guarantee the survival of humanity<\/b>. For Musk, AI has the potential to destroy humans, but by educating it to be interested in the universe and by extension in humans, <b>we would be saved<\/b>.\n\n<b><i>&#8220;AI would act like humans seeking to protect the environment because it is essential to their survival and in their best interests.&#8221;<\/i><\/b>\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" width=\"800\" height=\"448\" src=\"https:\/\/liora.io\/app\/uploads\/sites\/9\/2023\/04\/chatgpt-7867916_1920-1024x574.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\">\n\nWe now know the reason for <b>Musk&#8217;s actions around AI for several months<\/b>. It remains to be seen what will become of <b>this promising project and its future uses<\/b>. AI continues to develop and some fear that it will get out of hand, like Google&#8217;s AI that learned an entire language without human intervention.
